Soaring Birthday Celebration
Another year older and every reason to celebrate. This birthday bouquet is tied by hand from the best stems available, with an upbeat, high spirited look that suits a milestone as well as an ordinary birthday. In Portugal the birthday person often takes a cake to work or hosts dinner for friends, and flowers that arrive during the day set the tone for the evening. A florist near the recipient, in Sintra, Matosinhos or elsewhere, makes the bouquet and delivers it in person. If the time difference means you will be asleep when it arrives, schedule your phone call for later and let the flowers speak first.
